← LeftwayTerms
Effective October 22, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Leftway Labs Limited (“Leftway”, “we”) about your Leftway Account and the Leftway apps you use with it. Each app can add its own rules on its own terms page; where an app’s terms cover something specific to that app, they apply on top of these. By creating a Leftway Account or using a Leftway app, you agree to these terms and to the
Privacy Policy.
- One account per person. The account is yours alone; don't share it, sell it, or sign in for someone else.
- Every account needs a mobile phone number that you own. We may refuse numbers we can't verify, such as internet (VOIP) numbers.
- Keep your sign-in and your device secure. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from inside any Leftway app.
You must be at least 13 to have a Leftway Account, or older if the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to these terms or to the processing of your data. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms with you. Some apps set a higher minimum age on their own terms page.
Leftway apps count real people. You agree not to:
- create or control more than one account, or use someone else's phone number
- use bots, scripts, emulators, or modified apps, or buy, sell, or coordinate fake activity such as votes
- get around our fraud checks, rate limits, or device checks
- break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or harass anyone
- copy, reverse engineer, or disrupt our apps or servers, except where the law allows it
We may discard activity we believe breaks these rules, and suspend or close accounts that break them. If we do, you can write to us and we’ll look again.
Some Leftway apps may offer paid features, such as a Leftway Pass. The price and what you get are shown before you pay. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also governed by that store’s terms, including its refund rules. Where a pass or item is also recorded on a public blockchain, that record is public and permanent, and your entitlement is the one on your Leftway Account.
What you submit in a Leftway app, such as a vote, stays yours, but you let us store it, count it, and show it as part of the app, including in public results and in content we make from those results (for example, the daily winner). We show results in aggregate and don’t publish your phone number. The apps, their design, names, and the content we make are ours or our licensors’. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the apps under these terms.
We are a small company that ships often. We may change, pause, or stop an app or feature. If we stop an app you paid for, we’ll tell you first and treat you fairly. You can stop using our apps and delete your account at any time.
The apps are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, Leftway is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim about the apps is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or CA$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
These terms are between you and Leftway, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support, or any warranty, and is not responsible for any claims about the app (including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims). If the app fails a warranty that applies by law, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and not on a U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them in your local courts. Mandatory consumer protections where you live still apply.
When we change this page we update the date at the top and list the change here. If a change affects how we use your information in a way you would care about, we tell you in the app or by text before it takes effect.
